Experior & SAP Co-Hosted Half Day Event
Simon Evans, Experior
The past decade has seen a large shift in technology and the IT industry as a whole, with the ever-increasing integration of systems and multiple customer interaction channels. Businesses and technology are pushing the boundaries of what is possible but testing has been left behind. How do you ensure your testing is the most efficient it can be for your business, whilst protecting both your reputation and reliability?
Simon will talk about smarter ways of testing in order to realise the value from your investments. Move to a post software industrialisation era and learn about selective testing methods.
Nick Young, Greggs
Greggs are centralising their whole business around SAP. They have evolved their approach to testing during their roll-out. Nick Young, Greggs Solution Delivery Manager explains their exciting journey and valuable lessons learned.
Sean Howell, Red Shift Cyber
Security & Gary Voller, SAP
In this session you will meet an ethical hacker, who will share with us his fascinating experiences of hacking into companies’ applications. He will give us insight on how hackers get in, the typical weaknesses and vulnerabilities they look for, and how security breaches can be prevented.
Learn about SAP’s recommended approach to secure your code inside your SAP environment and beyond,
and how you can use the same technologies and techniques that SAP’s Development teams deploy to secure SAP applications shipped to customers.
Simon was the founder of Experior in 2002 and has worked in the SAP and technology industry for 18 years.
His SAP foundations began with Team121 and he spent several years working with SI’s before moving into dedicated testing organisations such as Mission Testing. His vision was of enabling customers to achieve the promised value of their IT investments. With a background in technical SAP consultancy, he believed in challenging the ‘usual ways’ of testing to find innovative, better and faster ways of delivering successful projects and programmes. This focus was on changing the way testing is done to improve quality, but importantly the overall cost of testing and speed. Making testing an enabler for change and not a blocker.
Nick is the IT Solution Delivery Manager for Greggs with responsibility for Development, MI and Testing. He has a background working in development and technology in SAP implementation projects across a breadth of industries.
