If you are looking for a conventional IT consulting career then Experior may not be for you! We pride ourselves on the individuality of our people – their backgrounds, experience and characters are all different. However there is a shared ethos (we call it our company spirit) which binds us together and makes Experior a great place to work! Our company spirit has three related but separate components: our roots, our passion and our vision. Our roots are why we were founded and how we operate when we are at our best. Our passion describes our everyday behaviour. Our vision is what we want our customers to say about us.
Our name derives from the Latin word meaning “to prove, to test, to put to the test, to find out” and this is what we do: we provide consulting services to some of the UK’s best known companies to help them test their SAP implementations. Experior was founded to deliver a better way for clients to take advantage of SAP, the world’s largest Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software company. We believe that testing is in fact the most interesting part of any project. Why? Because creation of a successful testing model comes from our desire, intrigue and ingenuity to build scientific models and through experimentation and interrogation, deliver against them.
We are focused on realising our vision, which we express in really simple terms: we want our customers to say that the experience of working with Experior ‘went way beyond testing’. The impact we have on our customers’ business is not just that we made sure that the SAP system worked, it is about the customer experience of working with us (quality, trust, memorable interactions) and the fact that we made their implementations a success by putting the user experience at the forefront of everything we do.
We pay competitively and we offer good benefits – you’d expect that. But working for Experior either as an experienced consultant, or as a graduate, exceeds this: you become part of a company that cares and is absolutely focused on creating the memorable employee experience. Our vision for our employees is really straightforward: we want everyone to say that Experior is a great place to work.
If you want to know more about working for Experior as a graduate then the best thing is to read the blogs and comments from graduates who have joined over the last three years. If you think this is just web-marketing hype? Then send us an email to email@example.com and we will put you in direct touch with any of our recent recruits so you can get to hear first-hand what life with us is like.
For those looking for a structured career with an “up or out” hierarchy, where your progress is measured purely by title (and you are in competition with your peers to continue to climb the pyramid), then we are probably not right for you. On the other hand, if you crave variety, exposure to projects and “real clients” very early on in your IT consulting career, then we’d like to hear from you.
As a small company, exposure to our leadership team is genuine, read Kenny’s blog which confirms this. You will interact with our Directors and other senior leaders in the business and you can be sure that your views will be listened to.
Joining our graduate scheme, you will of course learn consulting and technical skills through formal training, informal mentoring and crucially real experience but the speed and direction of your career will ultimately be in your hands. As you progress beyond our graduate scheme and through our consulting structure, it will be about you taking your skills and putting them to work at client sites, with the single promise that the variety and challenge will continue, whether you become a technical performance consultant, or a functional expert.
It’s certain that you can expect to be challenged (a lot!) at whatever level you join us and so motivation, determination to succeed and a real desire to develop yourself are key attributes.
For our graduate scheme, over and above anything else we are looking for smart, keen and inquisitive minds! We are open to receiving applications from graduates with any degree discipline at 2:1 or above, although you should be able to demonstrate a real passion for technology.
For anyone wishing to join us via the graduate route, it’s important to mention that for the first 12 months, you will be primarily office-based so your home must be within a reasonable daily commute of Staines. Beyond this, as a Consultant you will be required to travel frequently and will usually be away from home Monday to Friday. With the level of travel involved in our consultancy roles, all applicants must be UK passport holders, have a UK driving licence and own or have access to a car for business use when required.
To apply, either as an experienced consultant or for a place on our graduate scheme, please send us your CV with a covering email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are constantly looking to add to our team and currently have a number of graduate entry places we need to fill immediately. We are also recruiting for graduates to start in January and July 2016 so when you apply please indicate your availability to join us.
We look forward to hearing from you!
